Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage our financial activities, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- verse and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and support external and internal audits.
- Oversee tax filings, including VAT, GST, TDS, and income tax.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and related tax deductions.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on accounting best practices and industry trends.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on complex financial issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or Oracle).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Experience and Education:
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, products, and market trends.
- Conduct training sessions for sales teams and clients on HVAC systems and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on product improvements and innovations.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (public/private accounting experience preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CA are highly desirable.
