Please elaborate difference between REME & PHI?
  • Photo hydro ionization (PHI) cell based on oxidation technology with broad spectrum UV tube which is enclosed by Quad metallic catalyst having hydrophillic coating enhancing the formation of hydrogen peroxide. These are known as friendly oxidizer because they revert back to oxygen & water are their reaction with the pollutants. Whereas REME is Apart from PHI, REME has advantage of Bi-Polar Ionization which makes it effective over Particulates Matter by generating Ions however, the function of PHI remains same. If this technology is so good, why people in USA got so much affected with Virus?
  • Because at starting of Covid -19 due to less awareness and virus was mainly spreading from open areas.
Is there any direct method to measure before and after effects of PHI + Bipolar System?
  • Yes, by laboratory test that is Pre & Post Test.
Don't you think that the ESP is a better application for particles in an exhaust?
  • ESP is better application for exhaust like kitchen or where oil and mist is greater problem than Particles.
UVGI vs REMI over covid 19 ?
  • Ultraviolet light has no effect on particulate, needs direct close contact with a calculated exposure time, Ultraviolet light rays must be shielded from human exposure. UV Light has little to no effect on the conditioned space. Uv – mercury lamp may produce ozone.  Whereas REME a broad scope of friendly oxidizers makes it extremely effective on a larger number of microbial family, gases, odor, pollen etc and also effective over PM level. No chance of ozone. 
Do you suggest REME Technology to be used in an IVF where VOCs need to be kept at a level of less than 200 ppb?
  • Yes, Hydrogen peroxide is very effective over Organic compounds as H2O2 ruptures/inactivates these compounds and get back to water & oxygen.
What do you recommend for FCUs. Particularly for hotel applications or you recommend a standalone O2 secure or a PHI installed in a FCU duct?
  • Yes, PHI comes with different models according to application/CFM.
Is there any lab results available for the effectiveness of these technologies agains covid-19 ?
  • Yes, will be shared at the time of process.
VOC level of 1000-1200 ppb, how much time the REME will take to bring it a level of less than 150 ppb ?
  • Yes, in one of our test done at site we have seen reduction from 323 to 11 ppb.
Do you recommend using PHI and REME in FAHUs with heat recovery wheels. I mean do you need to upsize the PHI /REME as there could be additional cross contamination from Heat wheels ?
