The quality of classroom air has a documented impact on student cognitive performance, attendance and long-term health outcomes. ASHRAE Standard 62.1 recommends a minimum of 10 cfm per person for classrooms. A standard classroom of 30 students requires at least 300 cfm of clean air supply.
